Yesterday, there was something very special about casting a ballot for myself with my kids beside me.

Every morning this week, I’ve watched so many people exercise the incredible privilege we have to choose our leaders. I’m humbled and proud to live in a country where we can participate in this remarkable process respectfully and peacefully.

From the beginning, I’ve tried to lead this campaign the same way I hope to serve: by Putting Kids First, respecting the office I’m asking our community to entrust me with, and conducting myself with civility and respect.

Our kids are watching. Our families, teachers and community are watching too. How we lead matters. If this is what you are looking for in an elected leader, then I’ll be honored for you to vote for me as your next Anderson County School District 5 Trustee.

Whatever your choice, I hope you’ll make your voice heard and vote.
